Your VAF Comets played The Gators Saturday at 2:15pm. The coach on the opposing team spent nearly the entire game yelling at his team, the referee and the world in general. Real class act....they are eight years old, Einstein. Eight. Then he yelled at our coach. Our coach! OK, cheif...FIGHT ON. The Comets did what they do best: stuck to their game plan, stayed cool and stayed focused. Then they handed The Gators their first defeat of the season with a score of 7-4. Coach Flossi made every kid MVP. I was so jazzed at the end I bought slushes for the whole team and their parents afterwards. Wish you could have been there.
